Shraddha- unshakable trust

There are days when you look back and are able to see how your practice has developed, how the fruits of your work are ripe and feed your soul with empowerment. Other times the body hurts, or it may show a resistance to the practice, a certain level of unusual stiffness, a strange lack of concentration or fine tuning. And all these feelings and sensations, certainly very real, turn into a road of disbelief, or even uneasiness in what respects to the practice and the sense of it all. Shraddha means unshakable trust and its mysterious practice branches out into your life. Shraddha is the unshakable trust in the genuine goodness of life and this practice requires a pair of balls, determination and a lot of core strength. You practice shraddha when you “know” that everything that life takes to your door it is exactly what you need in order to develop trust, the good times and the hard times, the flowing and the stiff, the convincing and freak, the pleasurable and the painful. The good times are easy to welcome, the difficult ones are just telling you that you need a change in perspective to being able to embrace what comes or maybe a change in action is also needed so that how you live is more aligned with who you really are. Things getting tougher might just be a suggestion towards a necessary change in the way you see yourself, in the dated stories about yourself you still believe in that condition your sense of happiness and fulfilment. When you consider these things difficulty serves merely to strengthen your trust in yourself and your path in life.
